Prayer for day 3
Prayer of the Church for Saint Josaphat: Lord, awaken within Thy Church that same Spirit by whom Saint Josaphat was filled when he laid down his life for the sheep entrusted to him. Through his intercession, strengthen us by the same Spirit, that we may not fear to give our lives for our brothers and sisters. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. O most merciful God, pour Thy blessing upon these offerings and confirm us in the faith for which Saint Josaphat shed his blood. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Lord, may the gifts of fortitude and peace be bestowed upon us through the heavenly banquet, that after Saint Josaphat's example we may willingly spend our lives for the honor and unity of Thy Church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Saint Josaphat, pray for the unity of Christians and for us.
Traditional prayers
Our Father
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
