Prayer for day 8
Merciful God, in Jesus Christ Thou hast shown Thy great love for humanity and hast granted Saint Homobonus, father of the poor, the strength to share his goods with those in need. Grant that Thy Church may recognize Thee in every person and honor the presence of the Lord in the lowly and in those who suffer. Through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
Saint Homobonus, patron of businesspeople and tailors, pray for us.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
