Prayer for day 9

Mary, Mother of God, your offering of yourself to the Lord inspires me to love him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. May every thought, work and desire be turned toward his greater glory. Draw me away from selfish aims and help me welcome God as the true treasure of my life. Through your prayers, may I live in his presence and follow the path he sets before me. Amen.

Mary, Mother of God, presented to the Lord, pray for us.

Traditional prayers

Our Father

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
