Third Sorrow and Joy of St. Joseph: The Circumcision and Holy Name of Jesus

O most obedient executor of the divine laws, glorious St. Joseph; the Precious Blood which the Infant Redeemer shed at His Circumcision pierced thy heart with sorrow, but the Name of Jesus revived thy spirit and filled it with quiet joy. By this sorrow and this joy, obtain for us that, being freed during life from all sin, we may die with joy, with the most holy Name of Jesus in our hearts and on our lips. Amen.
