O Angel on earth, glorious St. Joseph, who didst marvel to see the King of Heaven obedient to thy commands; although thy consolation in bringing Him back from Egypt was disturbed by the fear of Archelaus, yet being assured by the Angel, thou didst dwell at Nazareth with gladness and in safety with Jesus and Mary. By this sorrow and this joy, obtain for us that our hearts may be freed from harmful fears, so that we may enjoy peace of conscience and live securely with Jesus and Mary, and die in their company. Amen.
