Exercise of Resignation for a Happy Death by St. Francis de Sales
St. Francis de SalesDivine WillHappy DeathSurrender to God
O my God and my Lord, I accept from Thy hand whatever kind of death it may please Thee to send me, with all its anxieties, pains, and griefs, in union with the holy and sacred death of my Redeemer Jesus Christ. I offer Thee my life and my death in satisfaction for my sins and for the glory of Thy Holy Name. Amen.
