Prayer to St. Joachim, Father of the Blessed Virgin Mary

O great and glorious Patriarch Saint Joachim, how I rejoice to think that thou wast chosen among all the saints of God to cooperate in the divine mysteries, and to enrich the world with the great Mother of God, Mary most holy! By this singular privilege, whereby thou hast become so powerful with both Mother and Son, obtain for me the graces that are needful for my salvation, and in particular a tender and constant devotion to the Immaculate Virgin, thy beloved Daughter. Amen.
