Prayer to the Mother of God by St. Anselm of Canterbury

O blessed and ever-glorious Virgin Mary, Mother of God, temple of the Lord, sanctuary of the Holy Ghost, gate of the Kingdom of Heaven, by whom, next to God, the whole world liveth! Incline the ears of thy pity to my unworthy supplications, and be merciful to me a most miserable sinner. Be thou my helper and refuge in all my necessities. Amen.
