Prayer in Time of Temptation

ProtectionTemptationPerseverance
O Lord Jesus Christ, King of glory and Lover of pure souls, behold how the enemy of my salvation assails me and seeks to draw me away from Thy love. Forsake me not, O Lord my God, depart not from me; attend unto my help, O Lord, the God of my salvation. Grant me the strength to resist every solicitation to evil, for Thy grace is sufficient for me, and in Thee I can do all things. Amen.
