Prayer in Time of Affliction or Distress
ComfortAfflictionHopeTrust in God
Alleviate, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the sorrows of Thy servants; and mercifully grant that the tribulations which we suffer according to the justice of Thy visitation may, by Thy grace, profit us unto the amendment of our lives and the eternal salvation of our souls. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
