Grant me, O Lord, to know what is worth knowing, to love what is worth loving, to praise what delights Thee most, to value what is precious in Thy sight, and to hate what is offensive to Thee. Suffer me not to judge according to the sight of the outward eyes, nor to give sentence according to the hearing of the ears of ignorant men; but to discern with a true judgment between things both visible and spiritual, and above all things ever to seek after the good pleasure of Thy will. Amen.
