Prayer for Christian Spouses

O God, who by Thy mighty power hast made all things out of nothing, and having set in order the beginnings of the universe, didst appoint for man, made to Thine image, the inseparable help of woman, and didst consecrate the bond of wedlock by so excellent a mystery as to foreshadow the union of Christ and His Church: look mercifully upon Thy servants joined in holy Matrimony, that abiding in mutual charity, fidelity, and peace, they may ever obey Thy holy laws and come at length to the joys of eternal life.
