Prayer Before the Nightly Examination of Conscience
Examination of ConscienceEvening PrayerRepentance
O my God, my Sovereign Judge, give me light to know my sins as Thou knowest them, and grace to detest them as they deserve to be detested; that humbling myself before Thee tonight in true contrition, I may find mercy at Thy hands in the day of judgment. Amen.
