Collect of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Seven Sorrows of MaryMassBlessed Virgin MaryPassion of Christ
O God, in whose Passion, according to the prophecy of Simeon, a sword of sorrow pierced the most sweet soul of the glorious Virgin and Mother Mary: mercifully grant that we, who celebrate with veneration the memory of her sorrows, may obtain the happy effect of Thy Passion. Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
