Collect of Ash Wednesday (Opening of Lent)

Ash WednesdayMassRepentanceLent
Grant, O Lord, to Thy faithful that they may enter upon the venerable solemnities of fasting with suitable piety, and pass through them with steadfast devotion. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.
