Act of Desire Before Holy Communion

Come, O Lord Jesus, come into my heart! My soul longeth after Thee, as the weary stag longeth after the fountains of water. Come, O Bread of Heaven, satisfy the hunger of my soul; come, Living Water, quench my thirst; come, Physician of life, heal all my wounds; come, Light Eternal, enlighten my darkness; come, Fire of Divine Love, consume all my sins and inflame my heart with love of Thee. Amen.
