Saint Andrew Christmas Novena

A traditional 25-day devotion preparing for the Nativity, from November 30 through Christmas Eve. It begins on the feast of Saint Andrew but is addressed to God in honor of Christ’s birth, not to Saint Andrew. Traditionally the same prayer is said fifteen times each day for a particular intention; the fifteen repetitions may be distributed across the day. This is a devotional practice, not a liturgical obligation.
